What is Bothell Municipal Court’s Day Reporting program? In 2021 Bothell Municipal Court began offering alternatives to jail in some cases. One such alternative is Day Reporting. It is hugely beneficial because it allows folks the opportunity to avoid being put behind bars. No one wants to spend time in jail. Especially the Snohomish County Jail, which is where Bothell houses its inmates. Day Reporting sessions are held on Wednesday mornings at the Bothell courthouse between 8:00AM and 12:00PM. Interestingly, Bothell Day Reporting is open to outside jurisdictions. So, for instance, if someone is ordered to do jail in another court, they may be able to do their time through the Bothell Day Reporting program, if authorized. It should be noted, however, that mandatory jail cases (i.e. DUI’s) probably don’t qualify for day reporting.
