About Greg Schwesinger

Greg Schwesinger has earned a reputation as an effective, zealous and articulate advocate for the criminally accused. Greg is well respected by not only the courts, but also his peers on both sides of the bench. Greg is known as a compassionate listener who empathizes with the grief, frustration, and underlying fear clients often experience when faced with being charged with a crime; he gives a voice to his clients that the government can hear and understand.

Greg offers a unique service to his clients because of his experience not only as a United States Marine Corps Judge Advocate, but also as a savvy City of Seattle Prosecutor. He uses his experiences to effectively advocate and negotiate on behalf of his clients, and creates success by ensuring that his client’s integrity and underlying humanity are always brought to the forefront during the processing of their case.

In the Summer of 1992, Greg successfully completed the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate School, Quantico, Virginia and was thereafter commissioned as a 1st Lieutenant. After completing Law School in 1994, Greg embarked on finalizing his military legal training at the Naval Justice School in Newport, RI; Greg officially became a Judge Advocate in the United States Marine Corps in March 1996. Greg ended his military career in 2002 as Major in the United States Marine Corps.

As a City of Seattle Prosecutor, Greg was appointed to a position in the “High Impact Offender Project,” responsible for the prosecution of the most serious repeat offenders, where he gained invaluable experience negotiating, resolving and/or otherwise trying cases.

In addition to the above, Greg chose to enhance his legal training by embarking on an externship for former Washington State Supreme Court Justice Barbara Durham during the Summer and Fall of 1994.

As both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney, Greg has handled literally thousands of cases, effectively and successfully litigating hundreds of cases up to and through trial. Greg’s significant training and experience, on both sides of the judicial aisle, have allowed him to emerge as a seasoned and dexterous advocate for those individuals accused of committing crime; Greg is dedicated and passionate about obtaining only the fairest, most just and equitable results for all of his clients.

"Greg was the right choice! … Greg is a man that really went the extra mile to be certain I was pleased with the outcome before finalizing anything. He is the only person I would recommend to anyone facing a DUI charge!" - Posted by Ben

Saad is a considered one of the best Criminal Defense Lawyers in Western Washington. To that point, Saad was nominated as a 2013 – 2021 Rising Star in DUI Defense by Super Lawyers Magazine and Seattle Met magazine, an honor less than 2.5% of all attorneys in Washington State receive.

Saad’s experience spans a full spectrum of criminal cases in Washington State – from misdemeanors to serious felonies. Saad achieves highly successful results for his clients through not only a wonderful ability to communicate with people but also all of the goodwill he has built up over the years with the courts and the prosecutors.

Prior to his transition into private practice, Saad served as a public defender, contracted by the Cities of Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond and Issaquah. As a public defender, Saad handled hundreds of misdemeanor cases where he developed a reputation as a passionate advocate focused on efficient, effective and just resolutions for all of his clients.

As a private practitioner, Saad has handled numerous complex felony matters, including serious sex offenses, with great success. Additionally, Saad has handled thousands of DUI’s and other criminal driving offenses resulting in significant amendments which have prevented his clients from suffering the very serious and harsh mandatory penalties handed down by the courts and the prosecutors. Saad has attended numerous legal seminars dedicated to the aggressive defense of DUI’s and is certified in the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.

Saad is a resident of Kenmore, Washington.
