The Holiday #'s are In

The results are in, and we aren’t talking about election results. Recent holiday emphasis patrols netted 795 DUI arrests in King County, Washington. Statewide, a total of 3,446 people were arrested during the annual “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign, which ran from November 21, 2012 through January 1, 2013. Many Washington law enforcement agencies participated in the crackdown on 2012 holiday DUI’s. In King County, law enforcement agencies included police departments in Auburn, Bellevue, Black Diamond, Burien, Clyde Hill, Covington, Des Moines, Duvall, Enumclaw, Federal Way, Issaquah, Kent, Kirkland, Maple Valley, Mercer Island, Newcastle, North Bend, Pacific, Redmond, Renton, Sammamish, Sea Tac, Seattle, Snoqualmie, Tukwila, Woodinville, the Port of Seattle, the king County Sheriff’s Office and the Washington State Patrol. As noted in a previous SQ blog, the extra patrols were funded by a grant from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.

Because of the very real and very significant ramifications associated with DUI/ Physical Control cases, it is absolutely imperative that an individual arrested for DUI/ Physical Control obtain quality professional legal representation from a Seattle DUI attorney. SQ Attorneys is a team of quality professionals. The Seattle DUI lawyers at SQ Attorneys have an abundance of knowledge and expertise in dealing with not only DUI/ Physical Control criminal charges, but also the associated Department of Licensing administrative hearings which arise out of a DUI/ Physical Control arrest.
